MicroMax Launches Its Second Android KitKat 4.4 Phone At 6199


BANGALORE: Micromax has launched its second phone with the latest Android Kitkat 4.4 OS after the launch of the Unite 2. Although the phone is available for sale on eBay for 6199, it has not been listed on the company’s official website and no word on the official launch of the phone yet.

The Micromax Canvas Engage will be the most affordable Android phone to run on the Latest KitKat OS. Being the competitor for the Moto E and the Micromax’s Unite 2, The unique factor on the Micromax Unite 2 is its Revirie Multilingual support for 20 regional languages.

The phone’s features include a 4 inch, 480X800 pixels IPS display that runs on the Android OS 4.4. The hardware specifications include a quad core processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHZ and a 512 MB of RAM. The camera on the phone is 5-mega pixel, and a 0.3 MP in the front. The Micromax comes with an internal storage of 4GB that is expandable up to 32GB and has a 1500 mAh battery delivering up to 5.5 hours of talk time, according to the data given on the eBay website.

The connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and Bluetooth. The phone comes with the preloaded apps like the Kingsoft office, Getit, Opera mini and Revirie phone book to name a few.
