Letv Unveils Le 1s & Le Max Phablets In India


BANGALORE: LeEco formerly known as Letv entered India with their super bike, 3D helmet and Bluetooth headset earlier this month. Now, the Chinese firm has stepped into Indian Smartphone market with new handsets – Le 1s and Le Max. The two new phones were launched at an event held in New Delhi, reports BGR.

Both Le 1s and Le Max are Phablets with impressive set of specifications. The Le 1s sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by MediaTek’s high-end processor Helio X10 merged with 3GB of RAM. On the camera front, Le 1s features a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device also sports a fingerprint scanner at the back. However, the company has not revealed the pricing but it is expected to priced in the range of 10,000 to 15,000.

Meanwhile, the Le Max takes the place of a flagship featuring the massive 6.33-inch 2K display. The device houses a high-end Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The LeEco flagship handset comes with a 21MP primary shooter with OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) and a 4 Ultra Pixel front-facing camera.

The Le Max sports a fingerprint scanner at the back and the company claims that it takes less than 0.15 second to recognize the fingerprint with an accuracy rate of 99.3. The handset is already available in Chinese market and it is priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. 30,500). The firm did not announce the launch date and pricing of the device.
