Lenovo Unveils Two S Series Notebooks

Bangalore: Lenovo expanded its ultraportable IdeaPad range with the launch of new IdeaPad S300 and IdeaPad S400 notebooks. The company claims that the netbook are intended to offer portability and performance.

The S Series laptop combines comfort with solid performance. It measures just 22.4 mm at its thickest point and weights only 1.8 kg.

The IdeaPad S300 sports 13.3 inch display and the IdeaPad S400 comes with 14 inch display. The notebooks are powered by either a second generation Intel Core processor or AMD Radeon series processor.

“The new IdeaPad portfolio embodies a perfect blend of style, individuality and performance, for customers who want beyond just a functional product,” said Rajesh Thadani, Director, Consumer Business Segment, Lenovo India. “The new Lenovo IdeaPad S Series notebooks offer consumers exactly what they need by toning small size and light weight form factor with the requisite  power needed for everything from Web browsing to productivity tasks, all in an affordable package,” he added.

Both the notebooks offer 500 GB hard disk for storage and can be expanded up to 1 TB. The devices has 4GB of DDR3 RAM, Integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, 2-in-1 card reader, 0.3 MP HD webcam, stereo speakers, Dolby Advanced Audio and HDMI output.

The notebooks are available in wide range of colors at a starting price of 31,990 for S300 and 36,990 for S400.
