Lenovo Launches Idea Pad Yoga Hybrid Devices


Bangalore: Lenovo has launched Idea Pad Yoga for the Indian market. The hybrid devices, which double up as tablets as well as laptops comes in two models with 11 inch and 13 inch screens, which can flip and fold easily. The device will be at the shelves soon.

The Yoga Series created a buzz at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier due to its hybrid feature that swap the modes between an ultrabook and a tablet.

The price of Yoga 13 powered by 3rd generation Intel Core processors alongside 4GB RAM and integrated graphics comes at 84,290 and the Yoga 11, the Windows RT device comes at 61,790  respectively in India. A patented double hinge feature is available in the 11 inch convertible model which allows the keyboard to rotate up to 360 degree.

The 13 and 11 inch both of these tabs weights 1.54 kg and 1.25 kg respectively, compared to the 13 inch with a claimed 8 hour battery backup,  the later provide 2 hours more battery backup.
