Lenovo Launches Camera Inspired Vibe Shot Smartphone at 25, 499


BENGALURU: Lenovo has launched its new camera centric Vibe Shot smartphone in the Indian market at 25,499. Vibe Shot has a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera and is available for preorder on Lenovo’s e-commerce site TheDoStore.com, reports Times of India.

Lenovo Vibe Shot has been designed to look similar to a compact camera. It has a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p) IPS display with Gorilla Glass protection. Its 16MP rear camera has a 16:9 BSI sensor and tricolour flash, along with Optical Image Stabilization.

The phone sports an infrared focus sensor which is twice as fast as normal autofocus and supports 1080p video capture.

It is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It has a 2,900mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 LE options and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Motorola, which is owned by Lenovo, recently released its own camera focused Smartphone Moto X Play in the Indian market at starting price of Rs 18,499. The other major competitors are OnePlus 2, Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Samsung Galaxy A7, and Sony Xperia C5 Ultra.

Lenovo Vibe Shot will be available in retail stores after two weeks.
