Lenovo Launched Quad-Core 'Lephone K860' Smartphone


Bangalore: Lenovo have announced the launch of their new quad-core smartphone LePhone K860. Apart from the news of launching, the company has not given any information regarding the availability of the handset or the pricing of the device.

This smartphone will have a 5 inch touch screen and a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by a quad core Exynos 4412 processor, the same processor is used by Samsung in Galaxy S III. The device has 1 GB RAM and internal memory of 4 GB with a slot for microSD card which gives the user the option of expanding the memory up to 32 GB.

The LePhone K860 will function on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and is powered by a 2,250 mAh battery. It comes with an 8 mega pixel rear camera which can capture videos at 1080 pixels and has an LED flash. The smartphone also comes with a 3 mega pixel front facing camera which allows the user to make video calls.

Keeping in mind the specifications it is quite safe to consider that the LePhone K860 will be placed in the market to compete with leading smartphone like Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One X.
