Leaks Suggest Huawei Nexus To Sport SD820 And Fingerprint Sensor

BANGALORE: Ever since Google I/O of this year, the rumour has it that Google will launch two versions of its next Nexus Smartphone; One by merging with Chinese manufacturer Huawei and another with old partner LG. However, speculations can never be true, until, Evan Blass a prominent leakster tweeted the specs of most rumoured upcoming Huawei Nexus, reports AndroidAuthority.

According to Blass, the Huawei manufactured Nexus will sport a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution. Along with pixel density of 515 pixels per inch, that is faintly higher than last Nexus 6.

The display specs may not be alarming but the processor will leave you astonished. As Blass claims that a Snapdragon 820 processor will power the Huawei Nexus. Although, Huawei never used a Qualcomm processor in their devices, the company only featured Kirin processors in their Smartphones. A switch to the latest Snapdragon processor may be the one of the conditions that Google implied on building the next flagship phone.

Blass also reveals that the next Nexus manufactured Nexus will have fingerprint sensor. And we can expect the placement of this sensor to be under the camera similar recently launched Huawei Honor 7 and Ascend Mate 7.

Nevertheless, the fingerprint sensor in Ascend Mate 7 performed very well and we can hope the fingerprint sensor in next Nexus device won’t be a disappointment. To add up the heat, there are expectations from LG to produce the next Nexus device. But the rumours suggest that Huawei version will be the flagship whereas the LG’s Nexus will be a mid-ranger with budget price tag.

According to reports Google’s latest Android M mobile OS will be launched to the market in October or November this year and the two Nexus Smartphones are also expected to be delivered to the market at the same time. The tweets of Evan Blass also suggested that Huawei Nexus will enter market in the fourth quarter hence it is one step close to the official announcement from Google or Huawei.
