LG Unveils G4 Beat With Octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC




BANGALORE: LG Electronics recently unveiled LG G4 Beat; it is a new variant of company’s flagship Smartphone G4. The G4 Beat will be made available in Europe, Latin America, including France, Germany and Brazil this month. In the following month G4 Beat will be available globally, reports IE.

The new variant of G4 comes with slightly smaller screen than the original G4 at 5.2-inch Full HD IPS Display with 423 pixels per inch. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 1.5GB RAM.

The G4 Beat sports an 8MP rear snapper with Color Spectrum Sensor and Laser Auto Focus and the front-facing camera is a 5MP unit with Gesture Interval Shot. Just for Latin American customers the device rolls with 13MP primary camera variant.

The device comes with 8GB internal memory and supports 4G LTE / HSPA+ 42.2Mbps (3G), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, A-GPS connectivity. The Smartphone packs in a removable 2,300mAh battery and it runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The LG G4 Beat will come with Silver, White and Gold back cover options. However, LG has not declared the price for the very device.

While in India, LG launched another variant of G4, G4 Stylus in the country. The mid-range G4 Stylus will cost 24,990 and sports 5.7-inch HD display. On the camera side, it flaunts a 13MP primary shooter and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage space.

The Smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 and it comes with the option of expanding memory through microSD up to 32GB. The device packs in a removable 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery.
