LG G Flex- The Next Big Android Phone Officially Unveiled In India

Bangalore: With the official launch of LG G Flex, Indian gadget lovers will now get the taste and feel of the country’s most expensive and first curved screen smartphone. Priced at 69,999, it is indeed a costliest smartphone in the Indian market. This expensive smartphone breed has been in store for the last couple of days in major online portals in the country, reports TOI.

It is the second smartphone next only to Samsung Galaxy Round to have a curved screen in the world. LG G Flex comes with a 6-inch flexible OLED screen that is curved along the horizontal axis. Not just the screen, even the phone's 3,500mAh battery is also curved.

As the saying goes “With every bright and sunny day, there come the rainy days too,” likewise despite the flexibility of the screen, the glass casing hinders it to be bent at will. But, the phone will bend if maximum pressure is applied on it. This is because the glass film is thin enough to be bent slightly.

Managing Director, LG India, Soon Kwon said, "Curved flexible displays are a groundbreaking technology that enhances consumers' viewing experience by many degrees. LG's latest offering, G Flex, combines innovation and technology along with sleek, curved design that not only delivers a more comfortable grip and fit, but offers better voice and sound quality. G Flex represents a new era in the smartphone space where curved and flexible displays are no longer a sci-fi fantasy," reports TOI.
