Intex Unveils Dual-SIM 'Yuva' Phone

Bangalore: Intex launched an affordable dual-SIM phone - ‘Intex Yuva’. The phone has a compact, slim, metal finish design offering longer battery life. The Yuva is specially targeting youth market who values for money.

The phone sports 2.6 inch QVGA screen, 1.3 MP camera and comes with bigger 2100 mAh battery which provides up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time.

“The consumption pattern of mobile phones has drastically changed in the last five years in India. Not only are young professionals using mobile phones for work, even students are heavy users, mostly for keeping in touch with friends and loved ones. Though these people spend hours with their phones they seldom find time to continuously charge it. Anticipating the need, Intex now offers a light weight phone with a long life battery - the INTEX YUVA. Even in places where consumers face long hours of power cuts, they can remain connected through this phone. The phone also comes with inbuilt entertainment options like video player, audio player, sound recorder, FM radio with recording facility and expandable memory up to 16 GB. It also has Bluetooth, micro USB and GPRS. It is available for 2,890.
