Huawei launches Honor 5X in India


BENGALURU: The Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Huawei is all set launch its new model in India. In Recent period, the company has gained significant popularity in the country and also has gained a huge brand value with its considerable amount sales on the online sites, as reported by TECH2.  

Honor 5X is the recent model that will be launch by the company and is expected to price at the 10, 000 range. The model is said to be the descendant of the honor 4 Xs and comes with a tag line “Faster Better Stronger”.

The respective Smartphone attributes 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 pixels Full HD display; powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC. The internal storage is limited at 16 GB and the external storage memory can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD card slot.

 A 13MP rear camera is mounted on the back and a 5MP selfie camera is affixed up front. Furthermore, the connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0, GPS, A-GPS, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G following the trend, along with fingerprint scanning technology. The phone runs by a 3000mAh battery, added with the Quick Charge 3.0.

According to the Chinese market the phone is available in two variants; base variant with sports 2GB RAM and the premium variant has 3GB RAM. The product is priced approximately 10, 000 and 14, 000 respectively in China. However the Indian market price of the product is yet to be made official by the company. The Smartphone is available in silver and gold colour options.
