Huawei Announces Two New Budget Android Smartphones


BENGALURU: Huawei has launched two Smartphones -Y3 II and Y5 II. The phones are listed on the official Huawei website and both the phones come with similar specifications but sport slightly different features, reports Indian Express Tech.

The Huawei Y3 II comes with a 4.5-inch screen boasting a resolution of 480x854 pixels and runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop. On the specifications front, the phone comes with a 1 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with a 1GB of RAM. The device packs in a 5 mega pixel rear camera with a 2 mega pixel front facing shooter. Storage can be done on an internal storage memory of 8GB which is expandable with a microSD card and powered by a 2100 mAh battery. Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

On the other hand, the Huawei Y5 II sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device is loaded with a 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor and 1GB of RAM. Pictures can be clicked with an 8-mega pixel rear camera and a 2 mega pixel front facing snapper. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth and many more.

Both the Huawei phones ,Y3 II and Y5 II come in 3G and 4G models with rose gold, sky blue, arctic white, obsidian black and sand gold color options. However, the pricing details are not out as yet and its availability details in India remain unclear too.
