HTC Reportedly Planning To Introduce More Budget 4G Smartphones Next Year


BANGALORE: The Taiwanese handset maker HTC scheduled to launch more entry-level 4G Smartphones in Q1 2015, reports NDTV gadgets.
 
HTC’s President of North Asia, Jack Tong, said in a media report. Tong is also looking forward for the device’s shipment to grow by a double-digit rate by next year. He also added that the single-SIM Desire 820 to be available in markets in the beginning of January 2015.

Tong said since its availability in December, HTC’s RE camera has seen notable response, he also expects that the RE camera will exceed 20,000 units by end of this year.

This month in India, via Snapdeal HTC’s RE action camera is available for 9,990.

In India this year the Taiwanese handset brand has launched a number of budget and mid-range smartphones. Some of the popular handsets in the Indian market were the HTC Desire 816launched at 23,990 and Desire 816G. Other handsets include the HTC Desire 210 Dual SIM priced at 8,700, HTC Desire 310 at 11,700, HTC Desire 516 Dual SIM at 14,200, HTC Desire 516C at 12,990, and HTC Desire 616 Dual SIM at 16,900.
