HP introduces redesigned Pavilion Notebooks


New Delhi: Hewlett-Packard India unveiled a redesigned portfolio of HP Pavilion Notebook PCs with a handful of new features. The new portfolio includes thin and light HP Pavilion dm4 and the HP Pavilion dv6 Entertainment Notebook PC. The main features of the latest versions are High Definition LED BrightView Screen, HP TrueVision HD Webcam with the low-light imaging sensor, ATI Radeon Graphics with DirectX 11, touchscreen, High Definition Audio and Dolby Advanced Audio with Altec Lansing Speakers, and Argento Blush (Metal) design. The HP Pavilion dv6 comes with 3D graphics, photo/video editing and High Definition display with Altec Lansing speakers and Dolby audio. It has a 15.6-inch LED-backlit widescreen display and has a long battery life and supports 3D graphics. The Pavilion dv6 laptop also has intuitive island-style keyboard design, new Intel Core i series processors and discrete graphics options. HP QuickWeb enables faster web connectivity. The price range for HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook starts form 35,300. HP Pavilion dm4 Thin and Light Notebook PC is a lightweight notebook under 2.5 cm tall and weighing in less than 2 kg. HP Pavilion dm4 runs on Intel HM55 express chipset. Battery backup lasts up to 9.5 hours and the HP Power Manager is an added feature to the long battery life. This comes with Intel HD graphics, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5450 switchable graphics. Another striking feature is the island-style keyboard with quick launch keys for one-touch access to play, pause and rewind. It is powered by Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processor and its price range starts from 46,400.
