Google Rolls Out Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update To Nexus Devices


Bangalore: The cyberspace is abuzz with the news of Google rolling out Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update to the selected Nexus devices viz. Galaxy Nexus phone, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets, reports NDTV GADGET.

Android Police, a web blog dedicated to Android, pointed to a Reddit thread where a user reported about his Galaxy Nexus receiving the 4.2.2 update and a Google+ post from another user reporting about receiving it on his Nexus 10 tablet. The update is also expected to hit Nexus 4 users. The report mentions that the update is being rolled out to select devices, carrying the JDQ39 build number.

Google was expected to roll out an update in mid of February, so it seems that Google stood to its words. This is the first update since Android 4.2.1 which was launched in late November.
