Gloveone Gloves The Gate Way To The Upcoming Virtual World

BENGALURU-The Spain based tech firm Neuro digital is working on ‘Gloveone’ project.  This project is intended give the virtual touch and feels to virtual reality while you wear the glove. The teaser video on the Gloveone project is out in Neuro digital’s official site and the project is expected to enter markets in 2016, reports, TECH 2.

Technology
Gloveone is a wearable glove gadget and its technology is assembled with, 9-Axis inertial measurement unity (IMU) sensor placed underneath the gloves and an IMU sensor used in aircraft operations. Furthermore, this glove can track the tempo, alignment and gravitational forces using accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers. IMU sensor is to control user’s hands in the virtual world to encounter the naturalistic experience.

Looks, touch and feel.
Gloveone gloves comes with a green and black look: The Shapes and weight of the objects, designed in the virtual world can be felt but not as same as it is in the real life but weight can be compared with the real life figures, as quoted by the company “realistic perceptual illusion”.

As per the developers, not only rain and fire can be felt, but also something as sensitive as rain droplets and blooming flower can be felt. To convert touch senses into vibrations the technology is used in such way that 10 sensors are placed in the palm and fingertips. Four of those sensors, located in the palm, thumb, index and middle fingers, can detect each other, which lets you drive a super car or ride a super bike.

This virtual glove is to deliver 4 hours battery backup, sports a Bluetooth wireless connection and features ‘anti- bacterial’ and ‘sweat-proof’ technology.

Gloveone could be the gate way to the upcoming virtual world.
