Fujifilm Launches X100S & X20 Cameras In India

Bangalore: Fujifilm India has launched the most awaited X100S & X20 cameras. While the X100S is a high-speed successor to the X100 with AF of 0.08 seconds, X20 inherits its high-precision lens and refined design, featuring improved performance over X10.

The X100S features the company’s newly-developed 16.3 million pixels APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor with a unique, highly randomized, color filter arrangement making the sensor’s performance comparable to full-frame output. With built-in Phase Detection, the X100S offers the world's fastest AF speed of just 0.08 seconds. The Intelligent Hybrid AF can switch to Contrast AF, dependent on the demands of subject or scene, to ensure that the camera always auto-focuses quickly and with precision. Offering users freedom when composing photos and adaptability for a range of shooting conditions, the X100S's Hybrid Viewfinder combines both an Optical and an Electronic Viewfinder. Making use of the in-built phase detection pixels for AF action, the X100S offers a “Digital Split Image” feature, which displays dual images on the left and right to be lined up for manual focusing. This enables accurate focusing especially when working with an open aperture or macro shooting. The camera has got FUJINON 23mm F2 lens offering premium image quality in a compact body.

On the other hand, X20 is also packed full with Fujifilm's latest technology such as X-Trans CMOS II sensor, EXR Processor II and newly-developed Advanced Optical Viewfinder with real time shooting data for improved usability and a bright view. The X20 is available in both black and two-tone black and silver. It features the newly-developed 12 million pixels 2/3-inch X-Trans CMOS II sensor. The sensor's excellent sensitivity is coupled with the processor's advanced signal processing capacity to reduce noise. The newly-developed X-Trans CMOS II sensor has built-in Phase Detection pixels for high-speed AF in as little as 0.06 seconds. Apart from that X20 boasts high precision F2.0-2.8 4x manual barrel zoom lens and enables you to create a beautiful soft ‘Bokeh’ effect to make your subject stand out off the background and also has Super Macro mode (1cm) for shooting perfect close shots.

The X100S was launched for 74,000 while X20 is priced at 39,999.
