First ever touch screen MP3 player launched by Cyberstar


Bangalore: Cyberstar Infocom has unveiled the first ever touch screen MP3 player, the Creative ZEN X-Fi2. Coming with a 3 inch TFT LCD screen, the MP3 player comes in two versions. The 8GB version is priced at 8,999 and the 16GB will cost you 11,999. The MP3 player supports multiple audio formats including the Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC). The device also supports iTunesPlus, which compresses audio data much more efficiently than older formats. If the users are not satisfied with the amount of memory that the player comes loaded with, they have an option of adding a microSD memory card to the built-in slot. The ZEN X-Fi2 also supports RSS feeds offline. One can watch videos and photos on TV with video out option. Raj Rathi, Founder and CEO, Cyberstar Infocom said, "Creative Zen X-Fi2, a second-generation device brings a touch screen and TV-out capability to the solid X-Fi foundation. Zen X Fi2 features a 3-inch display, touch-sensitive, TFT LCD capable of displaying up to 262,000 colors. The new Zen carries over the excellent icon-based menu found on other players in the line".
