Bangalore: Targeting Indian gamers and entertainment seekers Dell announced its S series monitors. According to the statement made by the company, the new release will have enhanced features which supports ultra-wide viewing angle. The improved visual quality with razor sharp images and fine details are just the tip of the ice berg. The panel allows the user to experience a wide viewing angle in full HD and 16:9 aspect ratio. Also the monitors come with a host of connectivity ports like USB, HDMI, VGA and DVI-D which will allow the user to connect their laptop, desktop or a console.
Dell is introducing four monitors of size 21.5-inch, 23-inch, 24-inch and 27-inch in this series. The S2240L/M 21.5-inch monitor comes with VGA and DVI-D whereas S2340L 23-inch monitor comes with VGA and HDMI are virtually borderless. The S2740L 27-inch monitor with VGA, DVI-D (HDCP), HDMI, and USP ports and S2440L 23-inch monitor with VGA and HDMI are almost frameless.
The monitors are having specifications like Full High definition, 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz, In-plane switching panel technology, 178 degrees/178 degrees (vertical/horizontal) wide viewing angle, 8 million:1 (typical) mega dynamic contrast ratio. This new S series of Dell monitors will be available on official Dell website very soon.
