NEW DELHI: DataWind, maker of UbiSlate tablets and PocketSurfer smartphones, has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of 10.1 inch tablets. The move is aimed at consolidating its leadership in the low-cost internet connectivity and web access device segment. The company has also introduced the first 10 inch tablet computer with embedded 3G modems under Rs10,000. The new tablets will debut on India’s largest online marketplace Snapdeal.

Suneet Singh Tuli, President & CEO, DataWind, stated, “There is an increasing interest in larger sized screens, especially for people looking for their first computer.
