Canon's New Range of DSLRs with 4k Video Camera launched in India


BENGALURU: Aiming the professional photography sect, Canon has unveiled its ‘World’s highest resolution Full- Frame DSLR cameras along with a 4K video camera in India. The EOS 5DS gets a price tag of Rs 2,52,995, the EOS 5DSR at Rs 2,65,995 and the XC10 4K professional video camera is stuck with a price tag of Rs 1,70,000, reports The Indian Express.  

The EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR from Canon brings along a 50.6 Mega pixels and are full frame cameras too. All the cameras come with 35mm full frame CMOS sensors and a new ‘Fine Detail’ picture mode allowing the photographers to set up the sharpness levels when clicking pictures. The device also comes with 150,000-dot RGB+IR metering and automatic exposure system which makes sure that there are accurate exposure and colour tones in low light conditions for a picture.

Apparently, on the XC10 4K professional video camera you could capture 4Kvideos and use it to take 12 MP images where the users can also pull out 8 MP images from the recorded videos.

According to Canon, the XC10 4k is made off proprietary components which includes a genuine Canon 10x wide-angle zoom lens with a 2x Digital tele convertor. With optical image stabilization in it, the lens also offers a zoom ratio of 27.3-273 mm for movies and 24.1-241 mm for photos.

However, both the EOS 5DS and EOS 5DSR are equipped with the latest DIGIC 6 image processors which permit maximum continuous shooting speed for 5.0 fps, says Canon.
