Budget Battle: Yu Yuphoria Vs Redmi 2 Vs Moto E Vs Lenovo A6000


BENGALURU: The entry-level Smartphone segment in India faces a tough competition as many companies have launched their products recently. Micromax unveiled their Yuphoria, Xiaomi released Redmi 2, Motorola launched Moto E and Lenovo came out with its A6000. Let us compare these four phones, as compiled by FirstPost.

Display

Yuphoria and A6000, both come with a 5-inch display screen. However, only Yuphoria and Moto E has Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Except Moto E, whose resolution is 960x540, all other three Smartphones have HD Resolution (1280x720).

Performance

Moto E is bound to last longer because it has a power efficient Cortex A7 processor, while other three comes with performance driven Cortex A57 processors. However, all four Smartphones sports a powerful quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.

Memory

Only Micromax Yuphoria features a massive 16GB internal memory, which gives it a competitive edge over Redmi 2, Moto E, and A6000, which only come with 8GB internal memory. Yuphoria’s 2GB RAM outshines from the rest of the crowd as Moto E, Redmi 2, and A6000 have only 1GB RAM.

Camera

Micromax Yu Yuphoria qualifies for a selfie phone as it has a 5-megapixels front facing camera while others have only 2-megapixels front camera with Moto E sporting just VGA camera. On the back, all four Smartphones share the same 8-megapixels camera.

Battery

When it comes to battery backup, Moto E will last longer mainly because it has two advantages over the other three Smartphones. The phone comes with a 2,390mAh battery along with a cortex A7 processor, which saves it from unnecessary battery consumption due to computing.
