Auxus' First Virtual Reality Smartphone Makes Waves in India


CHENNAI: Hong-Kong based electronics manufacturer iberry Auxus, which launched India's first virtual reality (VR) smartphone "Auxus Stunner" on January 28, has received tremendous response from its customers.

iberry Auxus, which also gave away its Auxus iWatch smartwatch worth 7,990 for free with the VR smartphone on the launch day, unveiled the device exclusively on eBay.in for 14,990 for a limited period.

"The Auxus Stunner is specially crafted keeping in mind the latest technology advancements and is packed with up-to-date features and best-in class technology. The Stunner is sure to create a revolution in the smartphone market," Rita Jain, lead (business development), Auxus said in a statement.

Auxus Stunner is equipped with 64-bit 1.3 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 GPU with 3GB DDR3 RAM and an in-built 16GB memory that can be expanded up to 128GB.

The 4G-enabled smartphone, which is bundled with a virtual reality headset that gives the user a 360 degree 3D dimensional view of the content on the smartphone, comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass protected 5-inch high-definition display and is powered by 3,000 mAh battery.

The device runs on Android 5.0 (lollipop) and is packed with an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash for both the cameras.
