At 8,990, Karbonn A29 To Compete With Quad-Core Phones

Bangalore: Another dual-core Smartphone from the Indian manufacturer Karbonn has hit online retailers carrying moderate specifications for a medium price tag.

The device, Karbonn A29 brings a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB of RAM under a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.
The dual SIM Smartphone also offers an 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a good 2 megapixel front cam for self shooters. The Smartphone packs 4 GB of internal memory out of which around 2.5 GB is available for the users. The memory is expandable upto 32 GB via MicodSD card.

A 2000 mAh battery powers the device which has connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bloototh, 3G EDGE and more. It runs on Android’s Jelly Bean version 4.1.

Even though the device offers decent specifications for the price tag of 8,990, this dual-core Smartphone will have to compete hard with the likes of Quad-core Smartphones offered by Micomax and other indigenous mobile manufacturers.
