Asus Re-Enters Netbook Market With EeeBook X205


BENGALURU: The netbook initiating company Asus is back with a bang. Asus has announced the launch of its 11.6 inch EeeBook X205 at only 14, 999 available via Flipkart. Though it is no longer called a netbook, the EeeBook X205 has the same features, reports Gizmodo.

Asus EeeBook comes with an HD display that has a resolution of 1366x768p. Running Windows 8.1, an Intel powers it with its quad core Bay Trail CPU paired with 2GB RAM. It has a 32 GB of internal storage, of which only 20.8 percent is accessible to users. This netbook by Asus comes at a decent price and thus represents value for money.

EeeBookAsus wants its users to keep cloud storage in mind and thus is providing 500 GB cloud storage with the EeeBook X205. Though it is a bit doubtful as to how many consumers will actually use the cloud. EeeBook has been launched in a new sleek, portable and ultra light appearance. It is 17.5 mm thick and even weighs 1Kg less than Apple’s fancied MacBook Air.

The EeeBook has even got one VGA web camera and supports built-in speakers, microphones and sonic master. The netbook offers 38Whrs polymer battery. It also sports 1 microphone-in/headphone-out jack, 2 USB 2.0 port, 1 micro HDMI and 1 microSD card slot. With all such fascinating qualities this netbook is approaching the market through Flipkart in this month. In the month of February the EeeBook X205 will be available on all Asus retail stores.
