Apple's iPhone 6, 6 Plus And 5s Gets A Price Cut

BANGALORE: A week after the launch of new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the existing iPhones such as iPhone 6, 6 Plus and 5s has received a price drop in the market. However, the price slash is not as effective as in the international market, reports NDTV.

The revised price tag of 16GB variant iPhone 6 will be 42,000 and 64GB variant will cost 50,000. On the other hand the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus will now be priced at 52,000 and 60,000 for the 64GB model.

The previous generation iPhone, 5s now comes with a price tag of 30,000 for 16GB variant and 40,000 for 32GB variant. The price listed above is noted from the online stores, the price will vary to the physical stores.

It is bit sad as the iPhones at U.S. market is being retailed with a price slash of $100 but in Indian market the prices don’t have much difference from the original cost of the phone. One thing the Indian consumers can blame is that the complicated relation between rupee and dollar, which elevates the price of iPhone in the country.

The price deduction in the local Smartphone market hints at the arrival of the new iPhones – 6s and 6s Plus. As the rumour goes, the new iPhones will have the price tag of its predecessors when they entered the market last year.

The good thing about the arrival of novel handsets from the company is the older or existing models get a huge amount of price cut as the firm expects all the existing phones to be sold. The old models of iPhones are not a bad choice to purchase at this time.
