ASUS ZenWatch Vs Apple Watch Vs Moto 360

BENGALURU: Apple is dominating the Smartwatch industry ever since it unveiled its own Watch. The company has launched Apple Watch across a wide price range. However, the competition is tough and other companies like Motorola and Asus will not sit idle while Apple will grab the entire market share. Let us look at the Smartwatches being offered by Motorola and Asus in India, reports MobileGeeks.

Design

Apple Watch gives the option to try several wristbands and comes in different appearances depending upon the budget of the buyer – Sport, Watch, 18K Gold Edition. On the other hand, ZenWatch does not provide a lot of options for wristband but all variants use a standard strap, unlike Apple. Similarly, Moto360 gives the option to try leather or metal strap and comes in round dial.

Special features

Apple Watch is full of features such as heart rate sensor, fitness tracking, and many more. Buyers can also pay using Apple Pay feature. Moto360 and ZenWatch uses common Android Wear features. However, both, Moto360 and ZenWatch come with heart rate sensor.

Software

Software is the main factor, which deepens the differences between the Smartwatches. Apple Watch is based on Apple’s own OS, whereas, Moto360 as well as ZenWatch use Google’s Android Wear OS. Apple Watch will be supported only by iPhones. However, Moto360 and ZenWatch are supported by a lot of Android devices.

Price and availability

Apple Watch will be priced at $350, whereas, ZenWatch and Moto360 are available for $199 and $250 respectively. ZenWatch has recently been launched for the Indian consumer market and the demand for ZenWatch is still not yet known.
