NEW DELHI: Taiwan-based computer hardware company ASUS on Wednesday launched two new notebooks featuring USB type-C port which is a first in this price-range. A540LA and R558UR devices are priced at Rs 20,990 and 43,990, respectively.
R558UR is an upgraded variant of R88UF notebook while the A540LA focuses more on the lower spectrum while, at the same time, comes with a lightweight design.
The ASUS R558UR notebook features 15.6-inch full HD anti-glare display, Intel core i5-6200U processor clocked at 2.3GHz paired up with 4GB of RAM and has GT930MX graphics from Nvidia.
R558UR's audio system is powered by SonicMaster and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.
The ASUS A540LA notebook features 15.6-inch HD display with resolution of 1366x768, Intel core i3-4005U processor, 4GB RAM and Intel HD graphics 4400.
Like R558UR, the ASUS A540LA's audio system is also powered by SonicMaster and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.
For connectivity, both the notebooks offer one HDMI port, one LAN port, one VGA port and Wi-Fi.
