Google Buzz, a social networking, microblogging and messaging tool integrated into Gmail service, has been widely criticized for privacy concerns and was held back by the search giant from expanding its businesses to the social networking space. The Google Buzz was launched on February 9, 2010 and got discontinued on December 15, 2011.
