Another attention grabber at IFA 2013 expo, is Qualcomm’s smartwatch called “Toq.”  The gadget has a 1.5-inch display and offers battery life of 3-4 days. It features a Mirasol display, which similar E Ink ereader screens, can be easily viewed in direct sunlight. Unlike most ereaders, it can display colors and can refresh fast enough for watching videos. The Toq has a backlight for when there is no outside light source. It syncs with Android 4.0 or higher smartphones, allowing users to quickly scan through texts, emails, phone calls, and other notifications, as well as it comes with music player and helps monitor fitness exercises via apps, just like other smartwatches. It is priced approximately $300, and comes with an optional Bluetooth headset.
