6 Hot Android Smartphones Coming to India

BENGALURU: Indians being one of the largest smartphone users, most of the leading smartphone brands will make their way into the Indian market. Karan Bajaj, The Economic Times, reports some of the hot Android smartphones that are about to hit the Indian markets in the coming months.

1) Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

While the Galaxy S6 made some crucial progress in its software and design compared with its predecessor, both the S7 and S7 Edge feature top of the line processors, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 3000mAh battery (S7), 3,600mAh battery (S7 Edge). Samsung tried to fulfill the expectations by making key improvements in areas of contention: the return of microSD card support with an integrated hybrid card slot, and a larger battery. Both the phones are equipped with a 12 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera with f1.7 aperture for superior picture quality even in the dark. Both S7 and S7 Edge have superAmoled displays with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. While S7 has a 5.1-inch screen, the S7 Edge has a dual-curved 5.5-inch.

2) LG G5

The all new LG G5 is powered by a -- Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage -expandable up to 200GB and a 2,800mAh battery. Featuring a 5.3-inch qHD display, this flagship was high on innovation. The phone comes with a 16MP primary lens and an 8MP secondary wide angle lens with optical image stabilization, laser autofocus and 4k video recording. The phone runs on Android 6.0 with a completely overhauled user interface by LG.
