2. Leica M

The German camera maker Lecia officially launched its latest Leica M with frame rangefinder camera in Photokina 2012. The Leica M comes with newly developed CMOS sensor which features faster frame rates in burst mode and has the ability to record 1080p full HD video.

The Leica M sports its very own designed and developed 24 mega pixel full frame CMOS senor.  It features an optical viewfinder, 3 inch LCD display with 920,000 dot pixel resolution, which is manufactured with tough, scratch resistant glass.

The camera is manufactured as its traditional standards. The top and base plate is built from solid brass while the chassis is a full metal magnesium alloy. It is rubberized for better grip and also to protect the camera body against dust, spray and moisture. It incorporates two additional focusing methods and Live View mode enables 10x zoom with sharper details.

The camera is available in black paint and silver chrome finish color, the Leica M price and availability for the Indian market is not been confirmed yet.
