Asus FonePad came in recently sporting a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 Processor. The device was first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2013 and then made its way into India recently. It is available in Chroma stores and Asus retail showrooms.

The device runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and has 1GB of RAM which is more than all the other tablets in this list. The internal storage capacity of the tablet expands up to 8 or 16 GB variants. 

The 7 inch display features LED backlight and IPS technology and supports a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. There is a 3.15 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 1.2 megapixel front camera, both supporting 720p of recording.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and voice calls and the device houses a 4270mAh battery claiming 9 hours of unhindered talk time.
