5 Mobile Trends that Died, but Must have Lived

Bangalore: The major trends of present mobile era are touchscreens, high-megapixel cameras, HD quality gorilla glass displays, social network integration and many more. Along with these trends which have lived-up to our expectation and therefore have survived in the market there were few technologies which were not that bad, but they died up a bit too early. Here are a few unlucky trends whose future didn’t click.

1. FM Transmitter

FM transmitter was one of the killer features to have in a mobile phone. Nokia was an early adopter of this feature, this technology allowed the user to transmit music from the phone trough FM signal. It was quite popular with car audio users where they can listen to their favorite music residing in their phone while driving and that too without those messy wires. This wireless technology was pretty cool, but surprisingly not many manufactures supported this trend and gradually it died off. The main reasons which hindered this trend are new mobile music app and streaming songs.
