ARM microprocessor resides in most of your portable smart-devices. This 31-bit microprocessor is the first preference for all portable device manufacturers who are looking for an economical and low-powered chip. Intel and AMD are the other two players in this market, but they have a different architectural design which is different from ARM.
The architecture of ARM is unique and licensed, tech giants like Apple, Samsung and Nvidia usually picks up one of the ARM ready-to-ship core-design CPU which are then packed with a GPU and other primary components into the company’s own SoC. Companies also have an option of obtaining the ARM architectural license to build their own customized CPUs.
