10,000 Units Of Huawei Honor Holly Sold Out in 10 Hours


BENGALURU: It barely took 10 hours for the Chinese Handset maker Huawei to sell 10,000 units out of the 15, 000 units which were in stock. Huawei tried their hand in India by launching its mid-segment device which was code named as Huawei Holly via Flipkart. Gizbot’s official sources say that Huawei poses a tough challenge to the Indian Smartphone market.

Allen Wang, President, Consumer Business Group India, said in a statement "Holly offers the maximum features and a power packed performance all in one device. It is bound to give a tough competition to other brands in the same price bracket."

The Honor Holly that is priced at 6,999 launched in the segment alongside Motorola Moto E, Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Asus ZenFone 4 A400CG, Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V, and Spice Dream Uno  cost below 7000. The phone is actually running out of stock in Flipkart. After Honor 6, Honor Holly is the second device that registered unbelievable sales in a short span of few days.

Huawei Holly sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels which translates 294ppi. It is a dual SIM Smartphone,  packed with 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek. Besides,  it offers 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front camera, 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. Other exciting features include  2000mAh battery and supports Huawei patented 30 percent  power saving technology. According to the sources, Huawei Holly will be available for sale on Flipkart again on December 8.
