#8 Huawei Ascend Mate 2

China’s largest phone manufacturer Huawei’s Ascend Mate2 will be available shortly if the reports are to be believed. The phablet apparently can charge other phones as well—a first of its kind reverse charging feature! The 6.1-inch phablet is powered by a beefy 4,050 mAh battery, which according to the company is enough to keep the phone running for two full days. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2 GB RAM and an Adreno 306 GPU.

#9 LG G Flex

G Flex is LG’s take on Smartphones with curved screens. It has a 6-inch P-OLED display that is slightly curved giving the phone a unique profile. Sturdier than other devices in the same category, it can withstand a good amount of flattening and is scratch resistant, thanks to its special back coating which heals itself. The device ships with Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) and other hardware specifications include a quad-core 2.26 GHz Krait 400 processor that is coupled with an Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. It does not support expandable storage but has 32 GB of internal storage.

The Japanese tech giant announced its new Xperia smart phone, Sony Xperia Z1 Compact at the CES 2014. Z1 Compact has all the features of Xperia Z1 but is of a palm sized proportion. It houses a 4.3-inch 720 x 1280p screen that can detect up to 10 fingers simultaneously; a feature loaded 20.7 megapixel rear camera capable of recording Full HD videos and 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD. It runs Android 4.3 (KitKat) and is powered by Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 processor, 2 GB RAM that is coupled with an Adreno 330 GPU.
