OLPC’s XO-3 Tablet        

This 8-inch tablet uses the 1GHz Marvell ARMADA PXA618 processor, 512MB of RAM and comes with a 1024x768-resolution LCD, or a lower cost Pixel Qi sunlight-readable display. Connectivity is via an Avastar Wi-Fi system-on-chip and the tablet can be hand-cranked for power, or there’s an optional solar cell contained in the tablet cover, and additional power supplies may be possible. The option of charging the tablet through solar power makes it a contender for the tag of eco friendly gadgets.This concept has been developed for children and their educational purposes.

iBamboo

Bored with the plastic looking eye sores of speakers. Designer Anatoliy Omelchenko, has designed these eco-friendly speakers called iBamboo for Apple iPhone. It is 100 percent eco-friendly, effective to manufacture and produces very little waste in the process. The minimalistic yet classy design consists of just one piece of bamboo, with a slot for the iPhone to be placed into. The natural shape of the speaker amplifies the tunes, producing a pseudo-stereo effect that requires no electricity. Because of its uniqueness, no two iBamboos will ever produce the same sound
