Lava Xolo X1000

Price: Rs. 19700 - Rs. 19900
The Good: Lava Xolo is the first company to release Intel powered Smartphones, adding X1000 to its series. This Smartphone has better looks among sub 20k handsets. It has a powerful processor and a camera with a bright display with good internal storage capacity, claiming to be the 'fastest phone ever'.

The Bad: Though this Smartphone is not quite a head turner, it does not possess a Super AMOLED screen. Another disappointing factor is that the Smartphone runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.0.

The Bottom Line: X1000 is the fastest phone as claimed by Xolo. It is powered by 2GHz Intel Atom processor.

Design: The Smartphone’s front side looks clean, as there are no capacitive navigation keys below the screen. There is a protective glass to the phone with curvy edges, much like Nokia Lumia 800 and 920. The back of the device is covered with a rubbery material and Xolo has given a great aesthetic look to the handset with its sleek unibody design.

Processor and Operating System: Xolo X1000 is powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom Processor, with Hyper Threading technology. Besides this, it has a PowerVR SGX540 GPU to handle the gaming department. The Smartphone runs on Android 4.0 Jelly Bean, operating system.

Screen: Xolo Xperia X1000 sports a 4.7 inch TFT capacitive touch screen. This is well fitted with a 2.5D EDGE to EDGR curved glass panel with clear viewing angles and crispness. It has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels that keeps the screen clear and vibrant.

Battery Life: X1000 has a well equipped battery life of 1900mAh. The battery claims to provide 5 hours of browsing time on 3G and offer about 9.5 hours of talk time on 3G as well as 2G.

Camera: The 8 megapixel camera comes in handy with a lot of settings. This also includes burst mode @ 15 fps (up to 10 pictures). The camera is also capable of recording pictures with full High Definition, which is 1080p@30fps. There is a secondary video camera at 1.3 megapixels, good enough for secondary video chat, with clear video streaming.

Storage and Connectivity: The Smartphone boasts of 8 GB internal storage and has the microSD card support for expandable storage. The connectivity options of the Smartphone are 3G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and Bluetooth.

Price and Availability: Xolo was launched at a price of Rs.19,000 in online stores.

Wrap up: Lava Xolo X100 is the fastest Smartphone as claimed by the company having an Intel processor. It has a unique sleek design, with clear display screen. It is one of the good looking sub 20k Smartphones.

LAVA XOLO (owners are RAI from UP) are SCAMSTERS
all that glitters is not gold
The phone is bad. Customer service is a SCAM. They will not refund you money, will not write back to you and will LOOT YOUR MONEY AND THE PHONE. I HAVE BURNT MY FINGERS
The phone will heat up and too much. And if you are using Skype or a game it will FRY the mother board. Then you will seek to go to the service center. Their service center is in DELHI. They will tell you that a courier will come an pick it up for you but the sad story is that they will never come soon... you will have to wait for a month. Now if you happen to closeby any service center nearby then, they will make a ride of you. Not only you will not get back your product but you will be mislead, lied to and harassed. You will not only not get back your phone repaired, you will be purposefully delayed (so that your remaining warranty will be short). My phone was neither repaired, nor replaced, nor was I refunded. I was harassed for over a month and I was without a phone all this time.
