Naresh Shah
President, ESSN India R&D, Hewlett Packard
Naresh Shah joined Hewlett Packard recently as President, ESSN India R&D. Naresh serves as the local HP ESSN executive responsible for site management, as well as aligning customer-facing strategies, assisting in product deliverables, optimizing operational efficiencies, and promoting collaboration across all ESSN business units in India. Prior to this, Naresh served as MD of Novell India Development Center and VP, Global Engineering Strategy with overall responsibility for all aspects of the IDC&rsquot;s product development activities. Naresh joined Novell US in 2006, as VP of the Global Engineering Strategy. In 2007, he was assigned additional responsibility as Managing Director of Novell’s India Development Center in Bangalore and moved with his family from New Jersey to Bangalore. Prior to joining Novell, Naresh spent more than 20 years at AT&T and its spin-off Lucent Technologies where he held various management positions in engineering, product management and sales, primarily in the US. During his tenure, Naresh also completed an assignment in India where he managed Lucent’s R&D centers in Bangalore and Pune. Naresh holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur and M.S. in Computer and Information Science from the Ohio State University, Columbus. He has also completed Novell&rsquot;s accelerated leadership development program in partnership with the Harvard Business School, and Executive Education programs at Tufts University, University of Richmond, and Thunderbird. Naresh is married with two children. His hobbies include following sports and current events.

Ravi Gururaj is Vice President Cloud Platforms Group at Citrix Systems, is a member of the Citrix CTO Office, drives the Citrix Startup Accelerator Program in India and is on the India site leadership team. Ravi held senior roles at Intel, was MD of the Trilogy India Development Center, founded multiple startups, two being acquired by NASDAQ firms, the most recent being acquired by Citrix last Sep last September. Ravi received his MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School, is a graduate of the Wharton School and is a computer science and engineering graduate of the Moore School of the University of Pennsylvania.

As Managing Director, India and SAARC, Symantec, Ajay Goel is responsible for driving the Symantec’s business strategy development and sales operations. Ajay brings over 25 years’ engineering and sales leadership experience with some of the world’s leading multinationals, including Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems and Asea Brown Boveri. At Cisco Systems, Ajay was the senior vice president for the Industry Business, Strategy and Operations for India and SAARC, and also led Cisco’s Industry Business Council. At Sun Microsystems he was country director for India Business Operations. In the last year, he successfully developed a startup venture in the new digital media space in partnership with colleagues from Stanford Business School. Ajay holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, and is an alumnus of Stanford Graduate School of Business.

In the past, he played various technical leadership roles at Siemens AG, Future Software and Lakshmi-Barmag AG. He is a well-known speaker in the areas of Enterprise 2.0, Grid, enterprise architecture, innovation and leadership.
