With more than 20 years of experience in managing business development, sales and marketing in traditional, online and mobile media. Marcus is responsible for driving Smaato’s mobile advertising business across the Asia Pacific region (including China and India) via it’s SOMA™ platform. Prior to Smaato, Marcus held business leadership roles in companies such as Velti Inc, Nokia, Travelocity Asia, Lycos and Media Corporation of Singapore. Marcus completed his Masters in Business Administration with Victoria University in Australia.
Rajiv Kumar
CEO and Founder, RockeTalk
Rajiv founded RockeTalk in 2005. Rajiv leads the development team and oversees the development of RockeTalk&rsquot;s core technology and infrastructure, while guiding the strategic vision of the company. Prior to RockeTalk, Rajiv was the founder and CTO of Widcomm, a technology and market leader in Bluetooth solutions. Widcomm was acquired by Broadcom in 2004. The technology developed at Widcomm is now in cell phones, laptops, hands-free car kids and wireless headsets. Prior to Widcomm, Rajiv was a VP and CTO at Uniden’s San Diego research and development center, which he co-founded. At Uniden, Rajiv was responsible for the development of the advanced wireless data product line that included GPRS modems, CDPD and 2-way pagers. Rajiv was also an engineering leader at Hughes Network Systems. During his stay at Hughes Network Systems, Rajiv was one of the primary inventors of CDPD technology that was the first ever cellular wireless data deployed. Rajiv holds several patents and has published textbooks in the wireless data area. Rajiv holds a BS and MS from Indian Institute of Technology.

Rahul Chandra is a co-founder and Managing Director of Helion and has 15 years of venture capital investing and corporate development experience in technology product and services companies in India and the US. He serves on the Boards of Shubham, UnitedLex, Getit Infoservices, Netambit, Mindworks and manages investments in Spandana and Equitas. Between 2000 and 2006, Rahul was based in Silicon Valley as part of the investment team at Walden International, a global venture capital firm with more than $2B under management. Between 2004 and 2005 he also led the M&A efforts at e4e Inc., a Santa Clara, CA based BPO company with more than 4,000 employees across the globe. Rahul started Venture Capital investing in 1996 in India as the first hire at Walden&rsquot;s India office. In this role he managed investments for Walden&rsquot;s India dedicated Fund between 1996 and 2000. Rahul has invested in more than 30 early-to-mid-stage companies such as Mindtree, Ikanos (IKAN), e4e Inc and Techspan (Headstrong). He also acts as advisor to companies in Media, Government, Travel, Education and Entertainment sectors regarding development and usage of innovative mobile and digital solutions. As Vice President at Ericsson India, he led the development of multiple offerings in Enterprise and Consumer space, leveraging Cloud Computing and connectivity mechanisms of 2G, 3G and LTE. As Chief Operating Officer of Spice Digital, he spearheaded strategic initiatives across Mobile Internet, Enterprise VAS, Mobile Governance, Mobile Advertising and Retail VAS. Vinish has been involved with development of novel solutions that have won recognition from JDPowers & Associates, India Digital Awards, Forum Nokia, Manthan Awards and m-Governance initiatives. A graduate of IIT Delhi, Vinish received his MBA from Duke University, USA and M.S from Case Western Reserve University, USA. He enjoys teaching – in India he has been a guest lecturer at ISB Hyderabad and MDI Gurgaon and in US, he was a Junior Achievement volunteer. After being in US for 15 years, Vinish relocated to Gurgaon, India in early 2007.
