Alok was country head of SiliconIndia US from 1999 to 2008 & had set up the India office and managed all operations and sales from India for US company. He also served as publisher of SmartTechie magazine for 5 years, which was one of the widest circulating magazines amongst the techies in India. Since 2008, as founding employee of SiliconIndia.com, Alok oversees the operations and finance of the company. He is also responsible for driving sales for online. His strong leadership and motivational skills in training over 150 sales people has resulted in superior individual and group performance. Under his leadership, the sales of the organization grew year-on-year revenue by 40 percent contributed by the newly introduced online products. His effort has brought the company to being profitable & cash flow positive and has made it ready for expansion. Mr. Shankar Arumugham

Shankar heads the operations of strategic consulting business of JLL for India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan. He is an Architect Planner having more than 18 years of multidisciplinary consulting experience in the fields of real estate / property development, urban planning, infrastructure, housing, urban environmental management, municipal finance and urban governance. He has been working on several real estate development assignments involving demand assessment, feasibility, valuation, best use option, retail advisory studies, etc for various clients across India and Sri Lanka. He headed the JLL team for preparation of Smart City proposalsfor successfully qualified cities of Chennai, Bhubaneshwar and Amritsar during round 1 & 2. Currently, he is part of the advisory team to various government agencies and private bodies in developing revenue generationand revenue augmentation strategies, preparation of detailed project reports for various infrastructure and redevelopment projects.

Dr. R. Ganesan is currently working as a Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering at Velammal Engineering College, Chennai. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Madurai KamarajUniversity. He obtained his M.E., and Ph.D., Degrees from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University,Chennai. He has received ‘Most committed Faculty award in the year 2007’. He has more than 20 years of experience in teaching in Engineering Colleges. He has published more than 35 papers in journals and Nationaland International Conferences. He is the author of Principles of Environmental Science and Engineering, Prefabricated structures, Soil Mechanics and Mechanics of Fluids. He has guided a many number of undergraduate projects and post graduate thesis. He has received Best paper award from Sathyabama University and SRM University. He is a member of the Board of Studies of the affiliated institutions under the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Anna University, Chennai. He has acted as interview panel Member for selecting senior Engineers for Food Corporation of India (FCI).
