Mumbai Institute of Metallurgy Quality & Management, established in the year 1993, is a Training Institute organization and is providing Training to personnel in Metallurgy and Management Systems. One of our focused training activities is special courses for students graduating from universities.

What is special training?
There is always a gap between what a student learns in colleges and what is expected in a job. We provide training to fresher on Core Tools applications in day to day activities while on employment. Once you have gained knowledge in use of core tools, it would be easy to apply them to meet job requirements. To site an example usage of statistical techniques is one tool that can be efficiently used to analyze data quickly and derive reasons. Another use is on how to present a consolidated data for quick and easy understanding. Another topic is basic management practices for a purchase executive. This programme would guide you to understand responsibilities of purchase executive and guide on how to perform purchase executive job. Marketing and sales management guidelines course would help a person to understand in execution of job as marketing executive. Like above we offer a list of short term specialized training programmes to make fresher comfortable in job from day one after joining an organization.

How the training is imparted?
You have to register for specific training course from list below. You would get training material after joining the programme. In one month you would be evaluated on understanding of the programme. Once you have satisfied requirements by obtaining minimum marks (open book exam through internet) you will get assignments (upto 3 max) as practical exercises and you have to submit them after completion within a week. When you are through in assignment evaluation you will get a certificate from the Institute to show as evidence on your special skills.
