Spiraling Demand For Luxury Homes in Pune

Bangalore: Luxury homes are gaining popularity in Pune suburban areas at a fast pace. Earlier, Pune home buyers rarely considered any category beyond the project pricing and location, which has changed drastically in today’s date, reports Times of India.

Now, the demand for homes has changed and to boost lifestyle, home buyers in Pune are seeking trendy homes that have included quality amenities.

However, the city suburbs observe more real estate activities and experience major changes in terms of infrastructure and the growth of IT/ITeS sector.  Growing demand for luxury homes has motivated developers to develop more number of trendy homes with the inclusion of quality features and premium amenities. Also, to fulfill buyers’ need, developers are now launching trendy homes with better amenities and plenty of greenery.

Kalyani Nagar is one example which has been witnessing soaring demand for luxury homes and has become one of the most prominent areas in Pune. This area of Pune has the benefit of being strategically located between Koregaon Park and Vimannagar and close proximity to infrastructures, which includes airport and rail connection.

Ravindra Sakla, chairman and MD of Raviraj Grroup, cited that, “Today Kalyaninagar has become the most high end location for customers. It has become a status symbol. The area has projects with the best specifications and world-class amenities. Our project Fortaleza falls in this category. Projects, schemes, townships are helping Pune to become a top-notch investment hub. Developers are also emphasizing on commercial buildings, which facilitates to the customer’s needs and demands. A good opportunity for investors, retailers, shops & office holders to have a unit which they can start immediately and can enjoy the benefit of luxury commercial building,” reports TOI.

Majority of upcoming housing projects are offering quality ambience along with best facilities and is also based on eco-friendly theme, which is now probing to be a new face of Pune. These projects are aimed to deliver quality lifestyle to fulfill the luxury needs of buyers.

Sakla further added that, “Luxurious houses are in demand. They have best specifications, worldclass amenities but a-la carte homes are not much in trend but we have to work on such kind of options as it will attract customers as it gives them option of designing their flat as per their requirements. In Pune, there are buyers if they get value for money. Budget is not much of a constraint.”

According to Jaymalhar Bhosale, COO, of City Corporation promoting Amanora Park Town, “In 2007, the skylines of Pune saw a phenomenal change when buildings touched the 100 meter mark. People do not mind paying an extra amount in order to get a flat on the top storey. Customer also ensures that amenities like swimming pool, gym, recreational club and so on are in place. People don’t mind paying extra for good infrastructure like healthcare facilities, roads, school in the vicinity and so on. Most of the upmarket customers prefer to have their interiors designed personally.”
