Bangalore: For most people, buying a house is not a frequent task. This is one tedious process and needs a lot of research because it requires a long time to come across a good location. Though the process deals with emotions, yet there are some vital things buyers should know about, even if they are in hurry to move in. The check-list is as follows -

Search for location:

Every investor has his/her own personal choice to reside at. Finding a good location is one of the significant factors for buyers before buying a new house. This needs a lot of research as this activity happens rarely to investors. The key things to look at for good locations are - well connected roads, better facilities with respect to hospitals and educational institutions and it should be free from land related issues. You should also check for the security measures of the location which is an important factor in current date.

Also, you can check online portals and can contact local real estate agents to know about the current market price as well as the property types. According to Indiaproperties’ Vice President, Ganesh Vasudevan, "Based on the specifications given to brokers, they will offer you a number of properties. You need to short list them further, based on your specific needs, budget and amenities," reports Economic Times.

Moreover, to buy a new house, you should secure home loan and get pre-approval in the first place, which will give you an overall idea of your budget. "Once your budget is ready, you can zero down on a location and specific properties in those locations. Ensure you are satisfied with the construction quality, amenities available and ensure that legal documents are in place," says Vasudevan.
