School of Engineering & Applied Science:The Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science has a rich history of education, innovation, and research breakthroughs dating back to the mid-1800s, with the granting of America's first Ph.D. in engineering to J. Willard Gibbs, the father of thermodynamics and one of the most renowned American scientists.

School of Management:The Yale School of Management has always been known for its innovative approach to management education. From our founding more than 30 years ago, we have promoted the radical idea.

School of Medicine:Founded in 1810, the Yale School of Medicine is a world-renowned center for biomedical research, education and advanced health care.

Among its 28 departments are one of the nation’s oldest schools of public health and the internationally recognized Child Study Center, founded in 1911. Its Yale Cancer Center is one of 41 comprehensive cancer centers designated by the National Cancer Institute.

School of Nursing: Founded in 1923,Yale University School of Nursing (YSN) is a diverse community of clinicians and scholars with a common goal: better health care for all people. We strive to achieve this goal through insightful research and expert care, both of which are informed by a model that empowers patients.

School of Public Health: Since the Yale School of Public Health was founded in 1915, its exceptional and multidisciplinary faculty have conducted innovative and important research and policy analysis and have trained researchers, practitioners, administrators and educators who have had a positive impact on the health of populations.
