About University of Colorado Denver

Founded in 1912 as the University of Colorado's Department of Correspondence and Extension, the downtown campus was established to meet the needs of the city's rapidly expanding population. Today, University of Colorado Denver offers more than 115 programs in 13 schools and colleges at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and first professional (health) levels.

Business School:The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver has been developing bright, motivated business leaders for 25 years. Located in Denver's vibrant downtown, the school cultivates active partnerships with leading businesses in the region and beyond. School of Dental Medicine : The School of Dental Medicine (SDM) is nationally-recognized for the quality of its educational programs, its interdisciplinary research and its excellent clinical care programs that contribute to the health and well being of many of Colorado’s most undeserved citizens.  Annually the school educates more than 300 students, receives about $5 million in external research funding and provides more than 82,000 clinical visits both on the Anschutz Medical Campus and across the state of Colorado

School of Medicine: Located in Aurora, CO, the school is part of the University of Colorado. Basic science and clinical opportunities for medical, physical therapy and physician assistant students are found throughout metro area hospitals and clinics. Rural health experiences are available around the state.
 
College of Nursing:The University of Colorado College of Nursing has a long history and rich tradition of nursing education in the West.The College of Nursing is proud to be affiliated with many high quality health care organizations.

School of Pharmacy:At the School of Pharmacy, pursuing excellence is an everyday exercise.
