About University of Central Florida

The University of Central Florida is one of the most dynamic universities in the country. Offering 216 degree programs, it has become an academic and research leader in numerous fields, such as optics, modeling and simulation, engineering and computer science, business administration, education, science, hospitality management and digital media.
University of Central Florida's 1,415-acre main campus provides modern facilities, most of which have wireless abilities, with 600 acres set aside for lakes, woods and an arboretum.  University of Central Florida has 12 colleges, including the newly established College of Medicine. More than 56,000 students attend classes on  University of Central Florida's main campus and its 10 regional campuses located throughout Central Florida.  University of Central Florida has granted more than 207,000 degrees in its 42 years of offering classes.

College of Business Administration:
The College of Business Administration advances the university's mission and goals in providing intellectual leadership through research, teaching, and service. The college is striving to enhance graduate programs, while maintaining the strong undergraduate base. The college delivers research and quality business education programs at the undergraduate, masters, doctoral and executive levels to citizens of the State of Florida and to select clientele nationally and internationally.

College of Engineering & Computer Science:College of Engineering & Computer Science is a mere 40 years young, and as you will quickly discover, we are one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing engineering and computer science colleges in the nation.

College of Medicine:The  University of Central Florida College of Medicine was established in 2006.The M.D. program enrolled its second class of 60 students in August 2010 and will soon produce 120 medical graduates each year. The Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences is training over 2,350 undergraduate majors in the biomedical sciences: Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, and Molecular Biology and Microbiology. The school also offers master's degrees in Molecular Biology and Microbiology and Biotechnology as well as doctoral degree in Biomedical Science with current graduate enrollment at about 200 master's and doctoral students.

College of Nursing:The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida is the university's 11th college and has been educating nurses since 1979. Currently housed in the Health and Public Affairs building, the college has state-of-the-art classrooms and teaching laboratories. With the recent establishment of a College of Medicine at  University of Central Florida, the two colleges will have opportunities to collaborate on nursing and medical education research.
