About Oakland University: Oakland University celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding in 2007. When it opened in 1959, 570 students were enrolled, and the charter class graduated in 1963 with 125 students receiving diplomas. School 0f Business At Oakland University: Oakland University School of Business Administration sustains its 40 years of educational excellence by remaining relevant to the ever-changing global business environment and providing students a distinctive educational experience that integrates classroom learning with real-world business experience and research. This accredited business school offers undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as special programs that satisfy many educational interests while supporting the employment needs of the business community.

School of Engineering and Computer Science At Oakland University:The School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) offers instruction leading to degrees at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. The programs are offered through four departments: Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.The SECS, with about 1,500 undergraduate and graduate students, features an outstanding faculty dedicated to preparing learners for the 21st-century workplace and society as well as for research in their fields of specialization. The school offers close student/faculty interaction, small classes and individualized attention.
