About Keele University:
Keele University is renowned for its exciting approach to higher education, beautiful campus, strong community spirit and excellent student life.
It was the first new United Kingdom university of the 20th century, established with degree giving powers in 1949 as the University College of North Staffordshire. University status, as the University of Keele, followed in 1962.
We offer a special student experience. Most full-time students and many staff live on campus and there’s excellent entertainment every night of the week. Our graduates obtain some of the best academic and employment success rates in the UK.
The Keele University provides high quality teaching across a wide range of academic and vocational subjects. Most of our students study for one of more than 500 Dual Honours programmes, where you can gain an honours degree level qualification in two subjects. We also have single honours degrees in American Studies, Environment and Sustainability, Geography, Law, Mathematics, Music Technology, Politics and in Medicine and other health-related subjects.

Keele Management School:Research within Keele Management School is organised and managed within the Research Institute for Public Policy and Management. The purpose of Research Institutes is to encourage multi-disciplinary research and consolidate Keele’s standing as a research-led University with a strong tradition of excellence in defined research areas.
As well as overseeing the supervision arrangements for postgraduate research students, Research Institutes foster a high quality, supportive and managed research environment for both individual researchers and teams of collaborative researchers, including postgraduate researchers.
School of Health and Rehabilitation:Welcome to the School of Health and Rehabilitation. Our website will provide you with details on the wide range of learning opportunities that we offer for undergraduate physiotherapists and osteopaths and also for qualified healthcare professionals who wish to study at Masters Level. School of Nursing and Midwifery:Keele University School of Nursing and Midwifery is based at the Clinical Education Centre within the University Hospital of North Staffordshire (NHS) Trust.
The Clinical Education Centre, which opened in September 2004, is a contemporary, state-of-the-art, building which houses not only the School of Nursing and Midwifery, but also incorporates part of the well-established Undergraduate and Postgraduate School of Medicine.
School of Medicine:In 2004 the Faculty of Health launched two flagship multidisciplinary Research Institutes. Our aims are:
- To provide a forum for high quality research at Keele and within the University’s partner NHS organisations in well focused themes to enable us to compete at national and international level.
- To ensure that Keele’s tradition and reputation for fostering multi-disciplinary research was continued and enhanced at the highest leve
School of Pharmacy:Pharmacists are the experts in drug discovery, development, preparation and usage of medicines. They are both professional scientists and qualified health care practitioners
